> Can we create qateam at mageia.org as a new ML to mange QA guys, tasks
> and requests?

I would prefer that nothing is created on mailman now that sympa is
there.
So that would be @ml.mageia.org
For the name, well, I am not much satisfied with qateam, as I find this
to be quite non descriptive for people who are not previous mandriva
people ( ie for almost everybody except a few ).
So I am sure that we can find a better and more descriptive name, or at
least try to find a better one.
> This ML can be public for now as we don't have security bug fix
> request for the moment.
> Perhaps we should put it private after the Mageia 1 release.

I am not keen on adding private list without very good reason, as this
will just make thing more complex :
- people do not know what happen ( -> lack of communication )
- people who want to join team cannot gather information ( -> lack of
participation because they do not know how thing go )
Moreover, if there is really secret informations, private lists sent in
clear text seems like placing a safe lock on a wood box.
Properly managing security issues would also require to have likely more
stringent procedures to decide who can read the email if they are
private ( thus more bureaucracy, and so less participation ).
And finally, the way we manage security would be handled by the security
team, and it is not started yet.
To me, the price is quite high in the long term, even if we do not
figure at a glance ( for example, the lack of community participation to
the QA process at Mandriva could have been exacerbated by such secrecy
requirement ).
> Please add me as the admin of this ML for now.

That's not how this work on the sympa system, all admins are de-facto
moderators.
