+In Germany almost all mirrors are hosted by the Universities. Since alpha1 I
+asked two of those, that host mirrors for a number of distros, if they could
+mirror Mageia as well.
+Both of them agreed without any problems (Erlangen and Esslingen with 1 and 2
+GBit/s bandwidth).
+Nobody told me anything about former problems with Mandriva. They just did it.

+I don't know about the rest of the world, but if you know any institution
+mirroring other distros it doesn't hurt to just ask, does it?
