+Well... I'm not in marketing. But I think the name isn't the problem.

+If you have your company (any company) and after two years working you
+go to an advertising pro and the first thing he says is &quot;you have to
+change the name of your company&quot;, will you do it? I guess you'll do it
+if the original name is really a sh*t.

+Of course, a good name is an important base for the advertising. But
+when the name is set, marketing pros must do the best they can with
+it.

+And it's not the same if you try to &quot;sell&quot; a server OS to a company or
+a desktop OS to a home user, an OEM OS to manufacturers, etc.
+
+Graham Lauder's points are very &quot;logic&quot;. Marketing guys can't sell
+something if you don't tell them what they will sell, and who they
+must target their &quot;fire&quot;.
+
+That's why Mageia must set mision, vision, etc etc etc.
+
