> Is the name 'Mageia' immutable? Do you suggest to rename it?

Well... I'm not in marketing. But I think the name isn't the problem.
If you have your company (any company) and after two years working you
go to an advertising pro and the first thing he says is "you have to
change the name of your company", will you do it? I guess you'll do it
if the original name is really a sh*t.
Of course, a good name is an important base for the advertising. But
when the name is set, marketing pros must do the best they can with
it.
And it's not the same if you try to "sell" a server OS to a company or
a desktop OS to a home user, an OEM OS to manufacturers, etc.
Graham Lauder's points are very "logic". Marketing guys can't sell
something if you don't tell them what they will sell, and who they
must target their "fire".
That's why Mageia must set mision, vision, etc etc etc.
IMHO.
