+As I said, I get email alerts when new files arrive in the mod queue.
+ If they are obviously spam there is no hurry, and I don't necessarily
+do anything the same day. If I see one that is genuine, I log in,
+deal with that and drop the rest (drop, not bounce). If no genuine
+ones arrive I go in once a week or so and drop the spam.

+A lot of spam moderation is avoidable, too. There are certain
+addresses that bulk-mail fairly often, and they can be added to an
+automatic-drop list. Similarly, names known from another list to be
+useful can be added to an automatic accept list.

+FWIW, I could handle one more mod queue, if it helps.
