The boot and boot-nonfree iso 's are the network installers.
If you use the link, even though it is labelled Beta 2, it will in fact give
you the "Beta 3" version, since the "Beta 2" version no longer exists on the
mirrors. Only the latest development version is available at any one time.
To confirm that you have the latest version, examine the VERSION file on the
iso. It should look like this:
Mageia release 3
Sat Mar 2 22:51:52 2013
3.8.1-desktop586-1.mga3
3.8.1-server-1.mga3
