Marcom and Artwork teams (and maybe other teams later) need to have a
storage space to upload temporary files, to share work in progress.
To do that, I think a simple solution would be to use WebDAV :
- we setup webdav with ssl, and allow upload from users from artwork
ldap group
- we setup apache to distribute files from this directory, as
<A HREF="http://tmp.mageia.org/artwork">http://tmp.mageia.org/artwork</A> (disabling execution of any script)
What do you think ?
Other options that I see are :
- using an ftp server instead of webdav to upload the files. However
the connection is not encrypted with ftp.
- using scp/sftp, but this require to have posix accounts for all users
