> >
> > I am thinking about adding a link to madb in the Blog post for release
> > - what do you think?
>
> It would be good if madb was on mageia.org servers, but right now this is
> only a demo version so I'm not sure we should get users accustomed to the
> current URL.
>
> I sure would like such a highlight on the project, but I'm not sure we're
> ready for it technically either (performance issues, especially on that
> page).
>
> So better copy the result, make it a static page somewhere on wiki or
> other location.
>
> Also, the list of "applications" is not comprehensive, some applications
> are wrongly seen as technical packages currently, so you need the "show
> all packages" filter, which doesn't work on mageia.madb.org currently. I
> fixed the issues that prevented the page from showing when there are
> many packages on a dev instance. It's still slow but at least it works.
> Here is a link: http://dev2.madb.org/package/comparison/application/0
>
> Samuel

On second thought, I might be able to solve the performance issue with some
caching, so it the fact that it's a demo instance and not the final one is
not a blocker, then why not.
