> Hi, when using the product named Mageia, in Czech there is practice to use the flection, when using case, right next to/with the official name.

> The root of the word is the same, the endings according to the case - forced with syntax of the sentence.
It's very similar in Slovene language also. I try to avoid it as much
as possible but sometimes translation just becomes to complex. In such
case i use declension (or sometimes called Grammatical case) too.

I already explain that in old thread from 14th of March ([Mageia-i18n]
[Bug 951] Localize the message of the desktop icon "Join the Mageia
Community").

Here is my fitting literal quote from there:

IMPORTANT NOTE: Polish is also Slavic language as Slovene. So I noticed that we
both use declension for the name of distribution. Language corruption or no
desired change in string can occur if someone just use "s/Mandriva/Mageia/". Of
course we don't use declension for company or association name. I'm not sure
for other Slavic language but I suppose they have similar language rules for
declension.

Have a nice evening,
Filip.
