On Friday 16 Mar 2012 14:43 my mailbox was graced by a message from Florian
Hubold who wrote:
> > Trying to compile a gimp add-on (David's Batch Processing) for GIMP,
> > which wants the g++ compiler.
> > Is there a Mageia version thereof ?

> No need to compile it yourself, it's already there by the name
> of dbp-gimp. For a overview of the gimp plugins in Mageia there
> is https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Gimp_plugins ;)

Except that https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Gimp_plugins links to the page of DBP
where only the tar.gz is available, no rpm; and the additional info link sends
you to a page that does not exist.

So I think there _is_ a need to compile after all.

Which I managed to do successfully, with the kind help of other listers here,
may their camels never diminish, and their ennemies turned into worms.

Cheers,

Ron.

                             it would be illegal.
