I'm taking the time this break to upgrade my main computer from mageia 1
to mageia 2. I have not actually started the upgrade yet, but right now I
am in the process of testing things to ensure that I will have a smooth
upgrade.
A long story short.
I have copied .local/share/evolution from my main machine to a different
machine running mageia 2. Firing up evolution I find no mails, no folders.
I read on <A HREF="http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=88648">http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=88648</A> that I
will need to convert each folder manually to some new format. I try one
folder and it works.
I tried this on one folder and it seemed to work. So my questions are
1. will this conversion be done automatically during an upgrade?
2. If not, do I have to manually convert each and every through this
manual process to the new format?
please help me!
