</I>Mageia appeared to be starting up, but when it came to logging in, it
couldn't find the home directories (separate partition). I'm not in a
frantic hurry - I have more RAM on order, to arrive tomorrow, so I've
plenty of time to decide what to do next, but I think disconnecting
the old drives and using a dock to copy anything I need is probably
the quickest and safest way to go about things.
