Sounds good, though probably overkill for the purposes of a netbook!

Mmm. Didn't know about that.
Presumably one would use e.g. Gparted to make the 'little space'.
Would need to find a way of getting 'live' Gdisk on a flash drive
for booting. Is there such a version?
