<PRE>My thanks to all; I have installed VLC player, Acidrip and avidemux ans in the
last one found an option to save the audio alone (did not find it in VLC
player or Acidrip, does not matter).
This raised another question: my install is in (UK) English, with some other
locales installed, cause I also spellcheck in French, German, Spanish and
Portuguese, and live in Paraguay; I was surprised to see that part of the
avidemux GUI is in Spanish, and that smplayer, which I recently installed, has
all the GUI in Spanish, in spite of my install being in English; I also get
pop-ups in Spanish on various web-sites, or worse get the site in Spanish,
with no way to change it to English.
How can one avoid such behaviour, apart from uninstalling locales-ES ?
Cheers,
Ron.
