With the problem of having experienced people leaving, because &quot;mandrake
is a distribution for newbie, i am not a newbie, therefor, mandrake is
not for me&quot;. This surely helped debian or fedora to get contributers.

I have too often seen &quot;the distribution work fine, but I wanted to try
something else&quot; ( or various stuff like summarized on
<A HREF="http://www.greenfly.org/mes.html">http://www.greenfly.org/mes.html</A> ), which is to say that the first
distribution never get the benefit of making people switch to free
software, which is bad.
