No one said kfind is going away
What changed in Dolphin is that Edit -> Find (or Ctrl+F) doesn't
launch a standalone kfind any more, instead it launches a kio,
filenamesearch, this one is integrated in Dolphin (i.e. it uses the
same Dolphin window), and it works like kfind for non-indexed folders,
and works like nepomuk for indexed folders (if you have nepomuk
disabled then it's always kfind-alike, IIUC; the same if you're
searching for filename). c.f.

FWIW, I don't use nepomuk (or strigi) so I don't know how it works
with filenamesearch kio.
