Hi Ron,
PCLinuxOS is a one-man show (Texstar), a single-language distribution
(English), and I believe it was KDE-only (not sure 100%, it's been a
while since I've used PCLinuxOS).
I believe one of the strengths of Mageia is community-driven,
multi-language, and multi-desktop.
