I have automounting enabled in KDE system settings Removable Media, and
both automount on login and automount on attach are checked. But nothing
is getting automounted.
Likewise, if I load a blank DVD and bring up the device notifier and
check the "Mount" button, nothing happens.
Automounting was working fine a couple of days ago. I update cauldron
once or twice a day, but hadn't rebooted until this morning.
The only indication that appears in syslog when KDE recogizes the blank
DVD is:
Nov 27 13:35:19 localhost systemd-udevd[29398]: failed to execute
'/usr/lib/udev/socket:/org/kernel/dm/multipath_event'
'socket:/org/kernel/dm/multipath_event': No such file or directory
There is nothing in syslog when I click the Mount button on the device
notifier.
This happened for a while back in January:
http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.mageia.devel/11591
, but Colin traced it then to gvfs needing udisks2. Probably not the
cause this time.
