BTW, this is interfering with several things. Wine apps can't "see" a
disk unless its mounted, and neither can Brasero running under KDE.
Previously, you could start Brasero to burn an ISO while the drive was
empty, and it would come up telling you to load a disk. When you did,
and the KDE device notification appeared, the Brasero window would
change to select that disk as the target. Now it does not. Nor does it
if you start it after KDE has recognized the blank disk.
