I looked around about pyc/pyo policy
Fedora : the byte compiled files need to be compiled and included in
the %files section
OpenSuse : same as Fedora, but they have a %fdupes macro, because
"Most of the time, .pyo files are exactly the same as .pyc"
Debian : no pyc/pyo shipped
they have two scripts : one to compile on install, one to clean on remove

Another idea is to use ghost
