<PRE>Greetings,
Hello from an old Mandrake user and lurker, and now Mageia hopeful.
I am very certainly too late for the Alpha 2, but this may be useful
for next round:
GQView has been abandonned by its author since 2006: there is an
actively developped fork, Geeqie (<A HREF="http://geeqie.sourceforge.net/">http://geeqie.sourceforge.net/</A>),
already present in Mandriva 2010.1 contribs if it helps.
Unless there are missing features or Geeqie bloats excessively (it
does not seem that way to a casual user), it may even be possible to
replace GQView completely and drop the RPM. Any opinions from GQView
heavy users?
Music-wise, Clementine might be a good candidate for ISO inclusion: it
is already in core, has few dependencies (and most are already in the
ISO anyway) and handles large collections better than most equivalents
(exaile, for example, last time I checked)
It is the Amarok for those who do not want or cannot afford KDE on
their computer (old SSD-based netbooks, for example).
I will try to be more timely in the future (including sending
this again for the beta, if necessary)
Best regards,
Priscus.
</PRE>
