</I>Wasn't this the reason for creating the "tainted" repository? Since we
don't have any software patents in Europe, we Europeans can safely
ignore them and for those regions, where they do have sw patents, we
wanted to let the people decide wether they use tainted packages on
their own risk or not?
At least that is how I understood the lengthy discussion we had at
that time...
