<PRE>Hi,
(resent from mageia-sysadm, it was mean for -dev )
This morning, I deployed a youri hook to unpack rpmlint configuration on
valstar when rpmlint-mageia-policy is uploaded, thus allowing to sync
the list of exceptions from the package ( which is the canonical one )
with the build system. So while this may seems uninteresting for the
vast majority of packagers and cauldron testers ( and it is ), this has
some practical effects.
The last attempt ( for unexpanded-macro ) showed some false positives,
and we were not able to properly keep a exception list. Now, with this,
we can.
So that mean we can reenable the check 'unexpanded-macro' and others.
While I am quite sure enabling it now will trigger a much faster
response rate ( because people will not have the choice ), I will enable
them in a few days, to let the time to packagers to send exceptions to
be added to the packages.
So if, when testing packages before upload, you see a error that would
block upload, and that is a false positive, just send a email and I will
add it ( or just add it to the rpmlint-mageia-policy package, and submit
it )
