Mageia App Db (still under development but already usable and making progress)
has a new page which compares all packages in stable releases to the packages
in the development branch (here, cooker).
You can find it here :

It also shows when there are newer versions from other distributions, using
<A HREF="http://check.mageia.org/updates.html">http://check.mageia.org/updates.html</A> for that.
It can be filtered with the common "Mageia App Db filters". For example, my
preferred view is the following one, focusing on games :)
