I don't think so; Firefox and Thunderbird still use myspell dictionnaries.
/usr/lib64/firefox-8.0.1/dictionaries -> ../../../usr/share/dict/mozilla/
/usr/lib64/thunderbird-7.0.1/dictionaries ->
../../../usr/share/dict/mozilla/
btw, Firefox and Thunderbird should be fixed to use system hyphenation
dictionnaries, instead of their own hyphenation dictionnaries.
