> >> No problem installing this package for me. Do you have the full error
> >> message ?
> >
> > Just the above. I'll try to get more info from the user.
> >
> >>> The purpose of the update was to add a requires on hugin.
> >>> When I was qa testing the update, I used urpmi to test that the install
> >>> picked up hugin.
> >>> Does mgaapplet only allow requires from the updates respository?
> >>
> >> No.
> >
> > Thanks, I was getting a little worried about that.
>
> The update tool doesn't pickup requires from core for an update package.
> Bug was already opened on an earlier update with the same issue (nothing
> done to fix it yet)
>
> https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2155
>
> Update is still blocked here on a machine if I only use the GUI tools
> (urpmi of course handles it ok)

See also https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2317 which is the technical
description of the same problem.

By the way, it would be great if there could be a fix quickly, updates are
failing for some time now, which is really not good for the quality feeling of
Mageia 1.
