Great to hear about the fork. I've been dabbling in some RPM packaging
(mostly backports), pulling patches from other distros to add that
extra touch to my desktop. I also have a keen interest in ensuring the
sustainability and growth of Mandriva as it is one of my primary
deployment platforms at work. I have some experience in enhancing the
look and feel of the desktop by tweaking the font rendering (freetype,
cairo, fontconfig, xft etc). I'm volunteering to help- some packaging
, QA, wiki, articles etc :)
