+Now, I checked with
+- latest gtk-3.0 (version 3.6.2, compiled manually),
+- latest glib (version 2.34.2 similar to mga3, and compiled manually),
+- libcairo2-1.12.8-1.mga3
+
+Still can't reproduce.

+Background is properly rendered, (unlike in your screenshot) and all
