+There has been some reports about failing to access Mageia mirror on 
+mirrors.kernel.org.
+
+So I have now verified it, and here is the problem:
+
+it happends when mirrors.kernel.org gets resolved to 149.20.4.71
+
+That host does not carry any mageia tree
+(atleast not visible to the outside)
+
+Can that be fixed, please.
