>>> >> Hi list,
>>> >>
>>> >> We tested our i18n-zh_tw at ml.mageia.org and it worked now.
>>> >>
>>> >> However, when I click "reply", I found that the reply address was set to the
>>> >> sender of the mail, not to the mailing list.
>>> >>
>>> >> I think it should be mailing list setting, right? Could anyone please help
>>> >> us to take a look at it?
>>> >
>>> > There is some documents against this :
>>> >
>>> > http://marc.merlins.org/netrants/reply-to-harmful.html
>>> >
>>> > who leaded to a rebuttal on :
>>> >
>>> > http://marc.merlins.org/netrants/reply-to-useful.html
>>> >
>>> > with then another answer :
>>> >
>>> > http://woozle.org/~neale/papers/reply-to-still-harmful.html
>>> >
>>> > And so, basically, in the end, the IETF answered about the usage of
>>> > Reply-to:, explaining its use, and so saying this should not be used for
>>> > forcing people to answer to the ml.
>>>
>>> Ok, thx for the URLs, I remember this discussions from former times.
>>> Then, why do other lists like mageia-i18n, mageia-sysadm, mageia-dev,
>>> and mageia-discuss do use the Reply-to setting, only the i18n-*@ lists
>>> do not?
>>
>> Not hosted on the same software.
>>
>> mageia-*@mageia.org is the zarb.org infrastructure, using mailman,
>>
>> *@ml.mageia.org is the mageia.org infrastructure, using sympa.
>>
>> Mailman default to changing the reply-to, sympa doesn't.
>
> Ah, ok, this explains it. I was confused by the different behavior of
> the lists. I guess mageia-* lists will also be moved to mageia.org at
> some point in time?
>
> Now I have to teach my Googlemail interface to handle mailing lists. :(

Which seems to be not possible, I am stuck with
 - klick on "reply to all"
 - erase the sender in the "to" field
 - copy the list address into the "To" field
 - erase the list address from the "CC" field.

I know, it's a short-coming of Google mail. But that does not help :(
