+no, you're thinking of use flags here...

+thing is, SRPM's are available, you can modify them and rebuild them locally.

+in mageia (since mandrake times) we usually split up packages in several
+parts, all of which could be installed separately.

+keep in mind that it's possible that printer drivers are required to
+automagically detect them, so in that case, it'd not be feasable for us.

+but you're welcome to become a packager and split up the SRPM's in
+separate installable packages. (if it's useful of course)
