Oh, OK, i use to select it manually, good to always have a backup GUI

But i was thinking on the case the user have an old box.

> But if you want LXDE to be next to KDE and GNOME, then XFCE should
> also be added... but that would be a bit cluttered, IMHO.

Well, if the user is so advanced that he knows *which* leightweight desktop he
likes, then he could select the advanced option.

But I think we should have one easy one-click install option for less capeable
computers.
Low requirements for both CPU, RAM, disk, and graphics.
Have ONE option named something like "lightweight install for elder computers"
and small text mentioning what DE it use, what browser, no *office, but it
can easily be changed after install, or use the advanced option instead.

> Well, you see, for a new user, in the first days, he probably doesn't
> yet know what is what, so he's grateful to find stuff just work, (a
> good text editor: kwrite, a terminal emulator: konsole, a familiar web
> browser: firefox... etc). It'll take him me some time before he starts
> to need to customise the system.

That is very true.

But we should not forget that there exist a lot of such newcomers who also
have machines that do not work very good with a heavy GUI.
