+Please submit gstreamer1.0-libav, which updates the package to a snapshot 
+of upstream git master/HEAD (development for gstreamer 1.1). This is 
+needed to get it working with ffmpeg 1.1 and allows us to drop all patches 
+we have for ffmpeg 1.0. The current run-time problem is described in 
+<A HREF="https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8925">https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8925</A> - basically WMA and possibly 
+other audio formats cannot currently be played in cauldron with 
+applications that use gstreamer 1.0. The video scaling plugin is disabled 
+upstream because it apparently doesn't work. AFAICT this doesn't cause any 
+problems.
+
+Tested:
+   - demuxing MXF
+   - decoding H.264 video
+   - decoding WMA audio
+   - muxing VOB/MPEG PS
+   - encoding MPEG 2 video
+   - encoding MPEG layer 2 audio
+
