<PRE>Thomas Spuhler a &#233;crit :
&gt;<i> There are two spellings of smarty on distis.
</I>&gt;<i> Mageia and Mandriva use php-smarty, Fedora use php-Smarty and SUSE uses php-
</I>&gt;<i> smarty but internally has /Smarty/Smarty.xxx
</I>&gt;<i>
</I>&gt;<i> /usr/share/php/Smarty/Smarty.class.php
</I>&gt;<i> ours is /usr/share/php/smarty/Smarty.class.php
</I>&gt;<i> This creates problems of dependencies of programs that call for
</I>&gt;<i> Smarty/Smarty.class.php
</I>&gt;<i>
</I>&gt;<i> Any thoughts about this?
</I>&gt;<i>
</I>&gt;<i>
</I>My bias is toward using lower case in package names and folder names at
least, if not in the file names themselves. Although class names often
start with upper case.
So I would at least leave the folder name lower case, perhaps adding a
symlink for the initial upper case.
And maybe do the same for the file name ?

(Looking at the packages installed on my system, a fairly important
majority of *.php file names are lower case. Of those with initial
upper case, many have the same name in lower case in other folders. And
almost all the folder names in their paths are lower case.)

To me this approach leads to fewer problems with case-related errors.

My 2 cents :)
