+We have got two packages:
+udunits (1.x line) and udunits2 (2.x line).
+
+The 1.x generation is deprecated for a long time and superseded by 2.x [1]
+
+I am proposing to obsolete 1.x line and then rename udunits2 to udunits.
+
+At the moment Debian, Arch, Ubuntu switched to 2.x, Fedora and RHEL are 
+still maintaining both lines [2].
+
+As far as I know, nothing is requiring udunits1 in Mga.
+
+What do you think?
