> Hello,
>
> I am considering buying an Intel Sandy Bridge-based laptop (a Lenovo
> X121e) and I am wondering whether Mageia 1 (not Cauldron) works ok with
> it, especially the integrated GPU. The CPU+GPU is apparently a Core
> i3-2357M. Does anyone have any feedback?
>

Yes. we made sure we had all parts of the Intel Sandy Bridge support
added to Mageia 1 according to Intel Specs at:
http://intellinuxgraphics.org/2011Q1.html

And it was tested on several Sandy Bridge based desktops and laptops,
to verify it works.

So it's should work for you too.
