Hmm, maybe I didn't push an update for 2010.1 that uses db_stat -f ...
<A HREF="http://svn.mandriva.com/cgi-">http://svn.mandriva.com/cgi-</A>
bin/viewvc.cgi/packages/cooker/openldap/current/SOURCES/ldap-
common?view=diff&r1=638048&r2=6163&diff_format=h
For now I'm going to make this change manually on valstar.
I killed the offending process as well and the backup completed:
Aug 11 15:53:46 valstar ldap-hot-db-backup: Try 1 to run "/usr/bin/db_stat
/var/lib/ldap/id2entry.bdb" failed
Aug 11 15:53:48 valstar ldap-hot-db-backup: Try 2 to run "/usr/bin/db_stat
/var/lib/ldap/id2entry.bdb" succeeded
Aug 11 15:53:49 valstar ldap-hot-db-backup: No errors encountered in backup()
for /var/lib/ldap
Aug 11 15:53:49 valstar ldap-hot-db-backup: No errors encountered in backup()
for /var/lib/ldap/test
Aug 11 15:53:49 valstar ldap-hot-db-backup: Successfully ran backup to
temporary directory
Aug 11 15:53:49 valstar ldap-hot-db-backup: Switched new backup to good backup
successfully
Aug 11 15:53:49 valstar ldap-hot-db-backup: Backup run completed successfully
Log rotation didn't complete properly, we may need to clean up a log file
tomorrow if it doesn't get handled tonight:
-rw------- 1 root root 0 2011-08-09 04:02 ldap.log
-rw------- 1 root root 485028794 2011-08-11 15:57 ldap.log.1
Regards,
Buchan
