</div>What about a Linux-powered e-reader ?<br></blockquote><div><br>Ooh! I bought one of those 4 years ago.<br>It was a cheap Chinese knockoff, low-end hardware even for the day. It was running a stripped-down version of Ubuntu 8 for ARM.<br>
It was slow, but it worked! A Linux e-reader! And it did many other things too. Like play games, browse the web and when properly coaxed even play videos.<br>The problem is that the battery no longer holds a charge, and the charger broke. So it's pretty much a brick now. But I loved it while it lasted!<br>
