> Sorry for being late. I'm working on this right now and I'd like to know how
> to get the signature and checksum files if I download the image file
> directly (without using a torrent). Is there any direct link to get them?

If you go through http://www.mageia.org/downloads/:
- click on the image you want to download,
- you're redirected to a page with the relevant info about
signatures, which page reloads into the image file itself (it causes
your browser to start downloading the file, without altering the
previous page you still can interact with).

I didn't know that (I used the torrent).

I guess I could add a link to those as well to download them?

I think it would be a good solution. And the signature files also.

>> No, just the page contents. I will take care of the rest. Thanks!
>> > I will prepare it tonight. Should I provide just the contents or the
>> > logo,
>> > navigation tools, etc. also?
>> >
>> > Regards.
>> >> >> I just downloaded the LiveCD to install in a laptop I just bought .
>> >> >> The checksums are GPG signed but nowhere in the website I found the
>> >> >> public key. Finally I found it in subkeys.pgp.net, but for an
>> >> >> unexperinced user this is not evident.
>> >> >>
>> >> >> I think that the public key should be easily findable. It might be
>> >> >> worth putting a link in the download page to either the key itself
>> >> >> or
>> >> >> to a text explaining how to get it. What do you think?
>> >> >>
>> >> >
>> >> > Sounds good. +1.
>> >>
>> >> Yes. Please submit a short title + text + key document and we can
>> >> upload it on the website right away and link it from downloads and
>> >> support pages.
