<div dir="ltr">Hi everybody<div>As mentioned in a previous mail we are thinking about creating a brand new theme for Mageia 3 that will work on KDE and GNOME.</div><div>This will allow Mageia to have a unique look from other distros, and a unified look across desktop environments.</div>
<div>The thing is, we don&#39;t want to commit to this until we know that we can do it.</div><div>Nobody on the artwork team really knows what is involved in creating a new theme in either DE. (I have modified a few existing themes in KDE, but I don&#39;t think that that counts).</div>
<div>Furthermore, we would have to maintain this theme upstream, and that requires additional time and effort, not to mention commitment.</div><div>So this is a general call to packaging/developing people, or anybody else who has the skills and time to help us out with this. We will not start this project unless we know that we can finish it, and maintain it.</div>
<div>If anybody has any advice, tips, a hand to offer or even a few fingers, we would be very glad of any assistance.</div><div>Thanks</div><div>Max</div></div>
