And what is the difference of a mirror by <a href="http://free.fr" target="_blank">free.fr</a> and a mirror somewhere else?<br></blockquote><div><br>That Free is my ISP and I can access those files at high speed as it&#39;s their internal network (no need to leave to the internet).<br>
<br>When updating my old Mandriva installation (Mandriva repositories are mirrored by Free) I use to reach the bandwidth limit of my connection. When I moved to Mageia (used the urpmi method) it took me the whole night to upgrade while with Mandriva it used to take a few hours. Of course I won&#39;t die because of this, but it would be good to have it, not only for me, but also for a few millons french people.<br>
