          as well, which seems to resurrect sometimes randomly on both
          Mandriva and Mageia :(. <br clear="all">

    I installed Mageia a few times on other systems, no problem ( it was
    on desktops)<br>
    the one i have the trouble with is a HP-Compaq nx6110. all is fine
    except it.<br>
    i'm running vmlinuz-2.6.38.7-netbook-1.mga on this machine.<br>
