I tested and these were the results.

With standard sysvinit booting the system:
Startup and services running as normal, however system hangs at final
shutdown/restart

With systemd:
No sound, no networkmanager without service restart, even after that
the network would last for about 1-2 minutes the cut off. No
shutdown/restart whatsoever, kde would close then I would be dropped
to tty1.

I haven't had time to test with the old initrd and systemd to see if
these problems are dracut or not.
