<para>Mageia を一からインストールするにはこの選択肢を使用します。これは <literal>root</literal> パーティション
(<filename>/</filename>) をフォーマットしますが、既存の <filename>/home</filename> パーティション
(root (/) パーティション自体の一部ではなく、専用の /home パーティション) が分かれていればこれをそのままにできます。</para>

のバージョンからのアップグレードのみしか十分にテストされていません。これが公開された時点で既に<quote>サポートが終了</quote>しているバージョンの
Mageia をアップグレードしたい場合は、<filename>/home</filename>
パーティションを保持して<quote>クリーン</quote> インストールを行うのがよりよいでしょう。</para>
