Good catch!
Web 3.4 has done away with the concept of a homepage.
The culprit causing this issue is the
'epiphany-3.4.0.1-default-mageia-homepage.patch' in the src.rpm that
replaces about:blank by <A HREF="file:///usr/share/indexhtml/index.html.">file:///usr/share/indexhtml/index.html.</A>
Unintended consequence is that the 'restore previous session' prompt
is indeed clobbered as soon as index.html is loaded.
Please file a bug!
