> Le samedi 21 juillet 2012 12:16:13 Anne Wilson a écrit :
> > On Thursday I opened kaddressbook (4.8.2-3.mga2), only to find a blank
> > page. Going to System Settings > Personal I discovered that my
> > address accounts had disappeared, so I re-created them, one pointing
> > to the old std.vcf file, and one to ~/.local/share/contacts. I find
> > that they are marked read-only, and I can't change that - the checkbox
> > appears to clear, but when saved it is still read-only.
> >
> > Since then I have discovered that kmail also is blank. The resources
> > are still there, and correct, but all attempts to get them to display
> > in kmail have failed. I also get notices that kmail is off-line, but
> > again that can't be changed.
>
> Just in case did you check that akonadi was running/responding ?
> Somehow kadressbook & kmail should have prompted about non running akonadi.
> Regarding the off-line status did you eventually installed for example
> networkmanager without having it running/managing your network ?
> Did you have the same issue with another kde's network application ? ( like
> kopete for example) ?
> (It could be a solid issue eventually)

for me, kmail kept appearing to be offline, i had to restart akonadi as regular
user to get it back.
