>> Hello,
>>
>> I am considering buying an Intel Sandy Bridge-based laptop (a Lenovo
>> X121e) and I am wondering whether Mageia 1 (not Cauldron) works ok with
>> it, especially the integrated GPU. The CPU+GPU is apparently a Core
>> i3-2357M. Does anyone have any feedback?
>>
>>
> Yes. we made sure we had all parts of the Intel Sandy Bridge support
> added to Mageia 1 according to Intel Specs at:

>
> And it was tested on several Sandy Bridge based desktops and laptops,
> to verify it works.
>

Yeah, it should work just fine. Mageia Cauldron is in sync with 2011Q3 as
well, so you shouldn't have any problems.
