I'm not sure this is a good idea at this point, fglrx is generally not
very safe regression-wise...

Should we revert?
OTOH the bugfixes phoronix lists seem quite nice, though we haven't had
them reported:

Can other people confirm the regressions pointed out in the bugreport or
