It's probably safer to have -r /svn.

However URL with /svn would be better to be the same as with svn+ssh://. 
Maybe we can make it work with a symlink svn -> . in /svn ?

After adding the symlink, it works again :
~ $ svn ls svn://svn.mageia.org/svn/adm/puppet/
README
deployment/
external/
fileserver.conf
manifests/
modules/
