Since I'm not sure I'll be available for the next meeting is there a chance I can find some wiki page regarding what's available and what's the ToDo list so far?

Is there anything I can do to push this process forward?

You mean the process of setting up (new) web-based translation environment? Look at the log of our last meeting http://meetbot.mageia.org/mageia-i18n/2012/mageia-i18n.2012-12-27-18.31.log.html, it may give you some hints what's needed to be done (in fact, we have talked about it most of last year, so you may look at earlier logs, too http://meetbot.mageia.org/mageia-i18n/2012/).

i'm a long time contributor but because of little spare time, i'm not updated about tools and procedures to update the translations for mageia 3. how can i help? are you using something similar to transifex? please, let me know

For now only SVN. Hopefully we'll have something web-based (probably Pootle) for Mageia 4 ...
